Pearl Lee is survived by 8 great-grand children: Timothy Jr., Savannah, Ramsey, Paislee and Ciara Hamilton, Taylor, Kendra and Jaylynn Olinghouse. Her family was her greatest joy and blessing.

Pearl Lee loved her only child, grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than her own life. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, sister, mother and grandmother.

Pearl Lee was born in north west Tulsa. She attended Irving Elementary, Pershing Elementary, Roosevelt Junior High and Central High School. In school she was involved in music. She was a member of the Glee Club and often sang solos and played piano for school choirs.

Pearl Lee and Carl were married in Sapulpa, Oklahoma September 6, 1940. Her brother Pete and best friend Kathleen stood up with them. After their wedding they went to Cains Ballroom to dance. Their only child, Karla was born in September 1941.

Pearl Lee worked for Prides cafeteria in downtown Tulsa as a young girl. As a young couple Carl and Pearl Lee owned several restaurants in Tulsa. She worked for University Village later in life.

She was faithful in every part of her life. She committed her life to Christ at an early age at West Bowen assembly church. As a child she won every contest memorizing scripture. She was an active member in church her entire life, attending church with her beloved mother for most of those years. Pearl Lee has been a member of First United Methodist in downtown Tulsa for over 40 years. She has been in church choirs and played the piano in church for over 60 years. She was a member of the Saints and Sinners and Beacon Sunday school class and a member of the Melodears Choir. Pearl Lee and Carl blessed many church congregations and radio audiences with their beautiful voices.

Her greatest joy was attending church. Her hobbies were music, reading, watching Monk, Gunsmoke, Dancing with the Stars, American Idol and always reading the Tulsa World with her first cup of morning coffee.

From her daughter: My mother was a life long example to me. She lived before me, her grandchildren and family with the highest moral standards of any woman I have ever known. A life lived in front of her by her own mother, my grandmother Pearl Dobson. Her strength and love has sustained me many times in my life. I have been blessed. She has always lead by example showing her family that no matter what life brings, being faithful to her Lord and Savior will give you strength and peace beyond our understanding. The Bible says "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith, Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day." This scripture describes my mother. We love you mom.
