Peggy Jane Wood was born on March 28, 1935 in Muskogee and passed from this life on Friday, March 12, 2014 in Tulsa. Peggy was a talented seamstress, homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She retired from Saint Francis Hospital where she worked as a respiratory therapist. Peggy was preceded in death by her first husband James Malcolm Wood; son, James Paul Wood; sister, Mary Hendrix; three brothers; and grandson, J.T. Wood. She is survived by Cynthia J. Miller and her husband, John; daughter, Karen Elizabeth Vich and her husband, Jim; husband, Carl Napier; grandson, Daniel P. Wood and his wife, Ashley; grandson, Stephen Gunnells and his wife, Dean; grandson, Grant James Wood and his wife, Deana; grandson, James David Vich; granddaughter, Jessica Dyanne Ellis and her husband, Jeremy; granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Harris and her husband, Kaleb; Molly Katherine Johnson and her husband, Ryan; Seven great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Dry and his wife, Jane; brother, Robert Dry and his wife Margie; brother, Jerry Dry and his wife, Lanette; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held in her honor on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 10:00 AM in Moore's Eastlawn Chapel. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM in Hogan Cemetery in Locust Grove under the direction of Moore's Eastlawn Chapel, 918-622-1155.
