Pete "Papa Coach" Rose, 89, of Claremore, OK, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021. He was born January 26, 1932, in Sallisaw, OK to Percy and Carrie Rose. He was retired from Rockwell as an aviation painter and was a member of Catoosa Christian Center. Papa Coach enjoyed street rods, Mustangs and restoring his 1940 Ford Coup. He is survived by his children, Rick Rose and wife Christi of Wagoner, Rod Rose and wife Deborah of Verdigris, OK, Ron Rose and wife Betty of Preston, OK; his grandchildren, John Rose, Tia Roth and husband Josh, Tim Rose and wife Joyce, and Shelby Holland; great-grandchildren, Roman Rose and Scarlett Rose; and his companion, Marie Lau. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Claudia L. Rose; his brother, Wallace Rose; his sisters, Jeri Couch and Thelma Reed.
