Philip (Phil) Stephen Carleton, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend to many died on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2016 at Brookdale Cedar Ridge Senior Living Community in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He was born in Santa Rosa, California on March 19, 1945 to Robbie Lee and Gus Carleton.

He grew up in Shawnee, Oklahoma and has resided in Tulsa for the last forty years. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Kathy; son, Rick; daughter, Suzanne and her husband, Shawn; and grandchildren, Isaac and Sam.

We honor the rich legacy he left in the tennis community, and in the friendships that he dearly cherished. May his innate ability to accept people just as they are remain with us always and continue to inspire us.
