Phillip McCall, 79, passed away from this life on Saturday, April 20, 2024. He was born January 31, 1945 in Sapulpa Oklahoma to Rachel and Cecil McCall. He was proceeded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife of 58 years, Tina McCall; 4 children: Mike and wife Sherry, Tim and wife Pam, Tony and wife Audra, Christy and husband Dennis; five grandchildren: Gary, Chase, Dylan, Tyler, Payton, and one great grandson Dante. He is also survived by two older brothers, Ronnie and Dewain and many other family and friends.
He graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1963 and later attended JATC Electrical Apprenticeship Program where he obtained his journeyman's license. After several years of being a journeyman electrician, he obtained his contractor's license and quickly established his own company in 1977, McCall Electric. After 40 years of dedicated electrical service work, he retired.
Phillip enjoyed life to its fullest when he was not hard at work, he enjoyed motorcycles, drag racing and the racing community. As his children became older, he enjoyed watching them participate in many competitive sports. Mostly he enjoyed wrestling as he was a wrestler in school.
He was passionate about animals and donated to different dog rescues. He loved his country life at Mannford, Oklahoma riding his tractor and mowing, feeding his deer, hummingbirds, and fish. He spent countless hours tinkering with all things that had a motor attached and he loved riding dirt bikes and 4 wheelers at home but mostly enjoyed traveling to Missouri, Texas, Arkansas, Colorado, and Mexico to ride.
Phillip was devoted to his family, was a simple man with a big heart and worked endlessly to provide for them.
BUT mostly, his family and friends will remember him by his sense of humor and love to prank and joke.
