PHILLIP ROSS TYSON 55, passed away on August 21, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Phillip was born to Edward Earl Tyson and Rila Mae (Simmons) Tyson on January 25, 1959
in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his father, one sister, Phillis Tyson and grandmother,
Sarah Hall-Weaver.
Phillip is survived by his mother, Rila Mae (Simmons) Tyson; two daughters, Octavia
Tyson and Phillis Tyson; two sisters, Linda Lovell and Diana Joubert; two brothers, Michael
Tyson and Bennie Tyson.
Phillip was a long time Tulsa resident. He worked for a Janitorial Company in facilities
operations. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, husband, father and friend to many. He will
be missed by his family and friends.
Memorial Service: 10:00 a. m., Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Moore's Memory Chapel
with Reverend David Burks officiating.
