Preston A. Davis was born in Avoca, AR to Clifford Allen and Tommy Faye Davis. He is survived by his sister, Mildred Fern Lindsey and he was preceded in death by his sister Sarabeth Edwards. Preston, aged 93 years, died peacefully on September 6, 2014. Preston was the loving husband of Dana Elaine Davis (deceased), father of Julianne Gentry and Bethalee Holland, father-in-law of James A. Gentry and Ron Holland, PaPa of Jeffrey and Kellie Gentry, Amy and Raymond Cooper, Joshua Gentry and Kristal Masters, Christopher Holland, and Lindsay and John Daugherty, Great Grandfather of Preston, Lydian, Colt, Reagan, Audrey, Addison, Brody and dedicated friend and companion of Barbara Frierson. Preston faithfully served his country in WW II as both a B-17 crewman and a Prisoner of War, was an accountant at Sunoco for 38 years, and was a longtime member and elder of Christview Christian Church. Preston was a man of unassailable integrity, limitless generosity, and boundless love for his family and friends. He will be missed on earth and frequently sought out in heaven. He was a good one. There is a viewing scheduled for 6:00-8:00 pm at Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Moore's Southlawn Funeral Home at 9350 East 51st, Tulsa.
