Prima Socia Oberg, 91, of Tulsa, OK passed away peacefully on June 29, 2023. Prima was born in Santa Cruz, Bolivia and grew up in South America where she met and married Robert Clarence Oberg of Saskatchewan, Canada. The family moved to the United States in 1968. They settled in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she became a U. S. citizen and lived for the remainder of her life.
She was a devoted mother and friend to many. She loved working in her garden and cooking beautiful meals around the holidays! She is survived by her son Robert C. Oberg, Jr, her daughter and son-in law, Susan and Ray Shepard, her grandson Bobby Cole Oberg and her grandcats, Marley, Rocket, Remington, and Olive.
A celebration of life will be held in her honor, as opposed to traditional funeral services, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Sunday, July 9, 2023, at the Moore Funeral Home located at 9350 E. 51st St., Tulsa, OK 74145
