Allen was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on July 8, 1950 to Raymond Riley Alfrey and Mary Murrell Barnett Alfrey. He graduated from Shawnee High School in 1968 and went on to study computer technology. He made Tulsa his home in the early 1970's. He was married to Cheryl Williams until her death in 2002. In the mid-eighties, he and his friend Keith James started Business Computer Center, more recently known as System Integration Group of Oklahoma. He worked with many businesses and healthcare groups within the community over the last 30+ years.

In 2005, he met his current wife Katherine ("Kat"). They were married February 29, 2008. During their time together, they attended many concerts, as music was one of Allen's passions. His other passions were his rescue dogs and OU football. He developed many long-term friendships and was thought of very highly within the community. He could always make you smile with a crazy story and enjoyed sharing his favorite comics and music.

He is survived by his wife, his mother and his beloved dogs: Ziggy, Rafa and Peggy Sue.

In his last days, he felt the love and support of so many people, and we know that gave him strength.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, August 21, 2015 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK.

The family has requested memorials be made to Happy Hands Education Center, 8801 South Garnett Road, Broken Arrow, OK 74112.
