Rachel Louise Allen Lewis was born September 27, 1922 and went home to be with the Lord on September 12, 2013. Rachel was born in Rexville, NY to Marguerite and William D. Allen. She graduated from Whitesville High School in 1941 and soon after, married the love of her life Roger J. Lewis. In 1954 Rachel, Roger, and family moved to Tulsa.



Rachel was a career homemaker and devoted mother. She was an excellent cook, pie maker and bread maker. She loved and enjoyed caring for her family, and enjoyed reading inspirational books. Children brought extra joy to her life. Rachel always had something nice to say to anyone she met, and everyone who knew her, loved her.



Rachel was preceded in death by her parents, daughters Janet Land and Debbie Lewis, sons Larry Lewis and Ronald Lewis.



Rachel is survived by her brothers Richard Allen of Belmont, NY, Duane Allen and wife Shirley, of Whitesville, NY. Ronald Allen and wife Carol of Wellsville, NY.,sisters Arlouine Seeley of Belmont, NY., Phyllis Greene and husband Bruce of Portville, NY, Sandra Fitzpatrick and husband Jim of Wellsville, NY.,daughter Linda Burford and husband John, sons James Lewis, Terry Lewis and wife Joan of Tulsa, and Donald Lewis of Broken Arrow., son-in-law Paul Land of Claremore, many nieces nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
