Ralph Matthew Harris, 81, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 1977. He was born in Clay County, Wakefield, KS, on Thursday, August 22, 1895, to George Harris and Jane (Robinette) Harris, and was a retired railroad worker. Ralph was proud to have served as one of our nation's finest, as a Corporal in the United States Army in WWI, and was a member of VFW. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Harris of Abilene, KS; daughter, Mildred Krause of Tulsa, OK; 2 sons, George F. Harris of Topeka, KS, and Rex H. Harris of Norfolk, VA; sister, Pearl Krause of Herington, KS; brother, Elmer Harris of Abilene, KS; and a lifetime of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ralph will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but his spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have him in our lives.
