Ralph Gene Holleman, 89 years, passed away on October 11, 2025 in Tulsa. The eldest child of Ralph Goodner Holleman and Opal Beatrice (Hocker) Holleman, Gene was born in Tulsa, OK on August 11, 1936.
Gene graduated from Central High School in 1954. After finishing high school, he served in the US Air Force - Air National Guard for ten years and simultaneously began his career as a licensed electrical contractor. He married Judith Corinne Stewart on June 11, 1961, with whom he would enjoy 59 years of married life until her passing in 2020.
Gene and Judy started H & H Electric Company in the early 1960's and served a multitude of building contractors and loyal customers for many decades. Gene renewed his state and city electrical contractor license annually until he was 85 years old.
Gene and Judy were part of the stock car racing community in Tulsa in the 1960s and 1970s. He built stock cars from the ground up and they owned #74 for many years. Gene also developed interests in ranching, NASCAR, "junking", and avidly using the talents he inherited from his mother in gardening.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Judith Corinne Stewart and his parents.
He is survived by his sister, Barbara Greenleaf. Gene additionally leaves behind two nephews and a niece: Mike Greenleaf, Stacy Greenleaf, and Christy Greenleaf-Turner.
Gene will be remembered warmly for his kindness and his ability to fix nearly anything.
