Ralph Steven Jones, Jr. of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on July 28, 2023. The oldest of three siblings, he was born May 01, 1959 in Stanley, North Dakota. Steve lived in Olds and Calgary until the age of 10 when his family returned to Tulsa, Oklahoma. He graduated from East Central High School in 1977. Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tulsa. One of his proudest moments was earning his Master's Degree from the University of Texas.

Steve had four children: David, Emily, Daniel and Jeffrey. He worked with his father at Genesis, Inc and later for Grace Petroleum, Lobar Oil Co., and OIPA-GRI. He later moved to Tulsa, OK where he developed engineering software for Joshi Technologies. In 2002, Steve married Dana Barrett. They lived in Jenks and Tulsa, Oklahoma, for almost 21 years. During this time, he worked for Newfield for 15 years then for Cimarex until his retirement in 2021.

Steve and Dana attended Church on the Move in Tulsa. Steve enjoyed volunteering at Loaves and Fishes Outreach and, closest to his heart, John 3:16 Mission. He loved music, water sports and was an avid bicycler. Steve was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle.

Steve was preceded in death by his sister Sheron Lea Argo; his father, Ralph Steven Jones, Sr. and his mother, Freddie Marie Jones. He is survived by his wife, Dana; his children David (Julie), Emily Brooks (Denny), Daniel (Abra), and Jeff; his sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Rick Patterson of Lamar, Mississippi; four grandchildren Payton, Noah, Theo and Beau; Uncle Weldon Jones and Aunt Pattie; nieces, Kathy Keesee and Anna Volk; nephews, Joshua Cotts and Aaron Argo.

Memorial service honoring Steve will be held at Church on the Move, 1003 N 129th E Ave, Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Saturday, August 19 at 1 PM (entrance 4 at Oneighty building.)

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to John 3:16 Mission .
