Ralph Lloyd Knighton was born on January 9th, 1953 in Tulsa, Oklahoma; he passed away on November 5th, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 68. He is survived by his wife, Kay Knighton of the home, daughter, Kim Knighton of Tulsa, Oklahoma, son, Brad Stevens, and his wife Lisa Stevens of Buford, Georgia.
Grandchildren: Granddaughters, Taylor Knighton and her wife Angela Knighton of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Madelyn Harvey and her husband Jeffery Harvey of Bristow, Oklahoma. Grandsons, Jacob Stevens and his wife Bailey Stevens of Kennesaw, Georgia, and Josh Stevens of Buford, Georgia.
Siblings: Sister, Julia Denning of Wichita, Kansas, brother, Will "Buddy" Knighton and his wife Peggie Knighton of Catoosa, Oklahoma, brother-in-law, Lonnie Wilson of Tulsa, OK, sister, Ruth Anderson and her husband Jeff Anderson of Cottonwood, Arizona, Lora Pelto of Huntsville, Alabama and Jeff Knighton of Owasso, Oklahoma.
Ralph is preceded in death by his parents Wilbur Burton Knighton and Dorothy Ann Knighton of Verdigis, OK and his sister, Cathy Wilson of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Ralph attended McLain Highschool, graduating from Edison Highschool in 1971. As a self-taught chef starting at Piccadilly Cafeteria and rising to the Mansion Administrator/Head Chef of the Keating Administration. Ralph worked in numerous city clubs in Oklahoma and Texas which provided the opportunity to entertain a multitude of dignitaries. Ralph retired in 2019 from Express Ranches.
