Randle (Randy) Wayne Gilliland passed away on May 5, 2013.
He was born on February 19, 1958 in Tulsa, OK to Richard
Benson Gilliland and Joyce Love Gilliland.
He attended Tulsa Public Schools and graduated from
Memorial High School in 1976. He played football there
& received a scholarship to play at Ottawa University
in Kansas,where he graduated with a bachelor's degree
in May of 1980.

He was a member of New Haven Methodist Church in Tulsa,
where he also married Sandra Hughes of Nashville, TN in
July of 1989. Randy was happiest when he was spending
time with his family.

He also enjoyed being with his close friends, whether
it was fishing or listening to music. He was a loyal
friend to many & was always willing to give people a
hand. He would literally give them the shirt off his back if
needed. He accepted people for who they were without
judgment for any weaknesses or flaws they may have had.

He had a tremendous love of music & singing and would
jokingly tell his brother Rich that he was the better
singer of the two in the family. His whole family shares
that love of music.

Another passion of his was definitely sports, whether
participating in younger years or watching it on television.
His favorite NFL football team was the San Francisco 49ers.
He was a kind and wonderful human being and will be missed
not only by his family, but his friends and colleagues as well.

He was preceded in death recently by his father,
Richard Benson Gilliland. He is survived by Sandra,
his stepson Derek (Sarah) their sons Wesley and Oliver,
mother Joyce, brother Rich (Cheryl), his nephews
Richard (Alii) and Michael, and a great nephew
Richard Benson IV and great niece Kadis Love.
Memorial Service at 2:00pm, Friday, May 17, 2013
at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, Tulsa Oklahoma.
