Rasem Ahmed Faidi, also known as Awesome Rasem & Sam to some, was born on May 1st, 1956 in Kufur Jammal, Palestine and he passed on September 18th, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Rasem is survived by his wife Khitam, his daughter and son-in-law Amneh & Martin and his 2 grandchildren Sebastian and Savanna, his son Enoch & his 3 grandchildren Kenzie, Teagen, & Logan, his father and mother Ahmad & Afifah, his brothers and sisters Husam, Emad, Nevin, Nawal, Rasmia, and his 21 nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Afeef & Amneh, his brother and sister Basam & Afaf. Rasem was a devout Muslim who cherished his faith. Rasem was a great family man, a beloved Seedo or "dodo" as our kids called him and he loved his friends deeply. He had the gift of gab and enjoyed meeting new people. He was retired from working at the Tulsa cab company and he enjoyed spending his free time and weekends playing with his grandchildren and spending time with his wife and kids. He will be missed by so many people. We will be having funeral services on Sept 19th at 1:30 at the Tulsa Islamic Society and burial will follow at 2pm. There will be a celebration of life at a later date for those unable to make it.
