If you asked a hundred people who Raymond Adkins Farmer was, most would say he was honest, dependable, ambitious, courageous, caring, and more.
Ray was all of these things, a true gentleman to the core. On Tuesday, October 19th, 2021, Ray lost his battle with health-related issues at 90. The world has lost a great man, brother, husband, father, and leader.
Ray was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August, 4th, 1931, to father Lee Farmer and mother Lois Farmer. After serving three years in the US Army, Ray embarked on his successful sales career that included over thirty years at International Beers and Jarboe Sales.
He was a simple man and loved to watch his sports; win or lose it was always about the game. He also loved listening to Conway Twitty, George Jones, Lynn Anderson, Charlie Pride & Don Williams.
Ray is survived by his loving family: daughter, April Long, and her husband Orville and their five children: Kaiden, Kylie, Bailey, Raelyn, and Paisley. Additional family members include Anthone Campbell, his wife Andrea, their daughters: Torre, Kyra & August. Tammy Campbell, her daughters: Winter and Krysten. Daughter Carol Marie Ashton, Son Larry Ashton, daughter Lorraine Laird, daughter Joan Russell, daughter Roseann Parker, grandson Erik Groff and his wife Erika Groff; granddaughters Victoria Russell, Sarah Packer; one great-granddaughter, Madison Groff; and many more loving friends and relatives.
Visitation will be 5-8PM, Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Funeral Service will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, October 25, 2021 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
