GARLINGTON, Raymond Ellis, 94, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2019 in Tulsa, OK. Born February 8, 1925 in Bowie, TX to Raymond E. Garlington, Sr. and Vera Hendricks Garlington. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy having served in WWII. Ellis was a retired Mechanical Engineer in the Oil & Gas Industry. He was a life-long member of Boston Ave. United Methodist Church and also a member of the Wesley Home Builders Sunday School Class. He was a member of the Texas A & M University Class of 1946. He was single engine land pilot certified. Ellis was an avid golfer and senior tennis professional.
Preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Adaline Garlington; son, Grant (Robin) Garlington of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Gayle (Randy) McDonald of Benwheeler, TX; granddaughters, Kristen Forbes, KaraBeth Osborne, Laura McDonald, Lisa McDonald, and Leah McDonald; grandsons, James McDonald, John McDonald, and Joel McDonald.
Memorial services will be Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Rose Chapel at Boston Ave. United Methodist Church. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
