TUBB, Reba J. (Estes) passed from this life on Sunday, January 6, 2013, at home after a lengthy illness. Her husband, Jack W. Tubb and children Craig Tubb and Susan (Tubb) Cowart were at her side throughout. Jack and Reba had recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Reba was born on March 19, 1926, in Tulsa and was educated by Tulsa Public Schools. She graduated from Will Rogers High School, and she later attended and helped organize many Will Rogers reunions. She attended OSU where she met and dated Jack and was chosen as the Pi Kappa Alpha Dream Girl. Later, when Jack and Reba settled in Tulsa, they were among the founders of Woodland Acres Baptist Church and are the only founders still attending. Reba worked for several different companies in Tulsa but was best known as the Executive Secretary for Nimitz Jr. High.
Reba is preceded by her parents, William J. And Eunice Estes and well as her two sisters, Catherine (Estes) Rynearson and Mary (Estes) Willis. She is survived by her husband, Jack Tubb and two children, Craig Tubb and wife, Marilyn as well as Susan (Tubb) Cowart and husband, Robert. Other survivors are grandchildren, Julie (Tubb) Musser and husband, Mark, Jarrett Tubb and wife, Shannon, Jaclyn Tubb, Ian Cowart, Erin (Cowart) Haines and husband, Ryan Haines, Rachel Cowart and Elizabeth Cowart. Great grandchildren are Matthew and Macy Musser, Madison Tubb, and Violet Haines. Visitation 6-8 P.M., Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Moore?s Southlawn. Memorial service will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Woodland Acres Baptist Church with reception following the service.
