Rebekah J. Hale's Obituary

Rebekah Jane Hale was born to Arthur Waid and Birdie Toon on December 5th, 1948 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She passed away on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Truman "Bud" Hale in September 2022.

She is survived by her children:
Amanda "Mandi" Dixon of Tulsa,
Lindsey and William Santee of Tulsa,
John and JoBeth Hale of Scott, Arkansas,
Stephanie and Stephen Reinhart of Stuttgart, Arkansas,
Grandchildren: Mia and Kate Dixon; Wade, Wyatt, Robert and Tanner Santee; Emily, James, Jack and Victoria Hale and Gavin Deloache.

Becky was a devout Christian member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and Ablaze Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

She graduated from Muskogee High School in 1967. She attended the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, graduating in 1971 with her Bachelors Degree in Education. Becky completed her Masters Degree in Special Education in 1973 and later her second Masters Degree in Education Administration. Her career in education included teaching all grades as well as being a school counselor. She retired as an elementary school principal in 2002.

Becky was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority at the University of Arkansas where she held offices during her college years. She was an active member of Kappa Kappa Iota, KKI Tulsa chapter, a Lutheran affiliated Stephens minister, and was a docent at Gilcrease Museum.

Her multiple bridge and bunco groups, as well as her ladies luncheons, kept her active as a retiree.

Becky was active in women's Bible study groups at Kirk of the Hills, Asbury Methodist, Immanuel Lutheran Church , and Ablaze Church.

Services will be held Tuesday, May 7th, at 11AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church 400 N. Aspen Ave. Broken Arrow, OK 74012.
