Regina was born in Neosho, Missouri to Billy Gene and Betty Jo Hickle Dec 7, 1958. In Tulsa, she attended Lanier Elementary, Wilson Jr. High, Will Rogers High School, Oral Roberts University, and The University of Tulsa.
Regina launched her career in 1984 at Oxy USA, then to Mapco, and then Williams Natural Gas Company helping with business acquisitions, budgets, and supervision of information teams and services. As Senior Staff Analyst, she generated client/server environment plans and directed the migration to Windows office systems.
The turn of the century found Regina instructing math, research, logic, computing, and information security at Spartan College of Aeronautics, OSU Institute of Technology, Broken Arrow Public Schools and Tulsa Community College. She also worked with the Tulsa Police Department and Hominy Public Schools. Regina finished her career at her alma mater, Oral Roberts University in 2019.
Outside of work, Regina volunteered at Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian, Asbury United Methodist, Life Church, Boston Avenue United Methodist's Bell Choir, and enjoyed weekly lunch and classes at First Baptist. Regina was a longtime patron of the performing arts, Jazzercise, various book clubs, and a dear friend to many.
Regina is survived by her mother, Betty Jo Hickle of Tulsa and her brother, Sam Hickle of Los Angeles.
