RICHARD MICHAEL CHOATE
Richard Michael Choate was born December 19, 1957 in Tulsa, OK. He died peacefully October 28, 2014 in Dallas, TX at the age of 56. Richard was dearly loved and is survived by his two sisters, Alice Patterson of Kansas, OK, Susan Gower of Bristol, RI and stepfather Charles Gilmore of Tulsa, OK.
He is preceded in death by his father Richard L. Choate, and his mother Bettye L. McHenry Gilmore.
Richard graduated from his beloved OU in 1982 and worked as a CPA, first for Lamar Hunt in Dallas, and later for a large CPA firm in Austin, TX. He moved back to Dallas in about 1994 and operated his own business as a Microsoft Office Programming Consultant. Richard was always an optimist, though he struggled throughout his life with muscular dystrophy. Richard had many dear, lifelong friends who enhanced his life.
A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, November 6th, 2014, 1:30 pm at Moore Funeral Home, 1403 South Peoria Ave. Tulsa, OK., 918-583-6148. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Richard's life.
