Richard Dale Eugene Crawford was born on July 7, 1953 in Afton, Oklahoma to Billie Gene and Betty Jean Crawford. He went home to be with the Lord Jesus on December 7, 2023. He was 70 years old.

Richard was a loving husband, father, grandpa, and good friend. He married Pamela Sue Mauldin on April 14,1973 and they celebrated 50 years of marriage together. They had one son, Chaplin. It was Richard's great privilege to officiate & perform the wedding ceremony for Chaplin & his wife Rachel. Richard loved spending time with his son, and his two grandsons. He felt happy and truly blessed that his family was so close. Richard had 12 brothers and sisters.

Richard was ordained as a Baptist minister in April 2000 & served as pastor of 4 churches. He was also an actor, an accounting business owner for 15 years, & a cattle farmer. He truly felt it was his job in life to lead people to Christ. Richard had the pleasure of baptizing many people from prisons, to churches; even in the cold at Spring Creek. He celebrated each soul saved. He finished the race and completed the task our Lord Jesus gave him. The scripture that describes Richard is James 5:16, "The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective".

He was preceded in death by his parents (Betty & Billie); his brothers Brian, Bobby, & Randy; and his sister Terry. Richard is survived by his wife Pamela; son & daughter-in-law ( Chaplin & Rachel Crawford of Catoosa); grandsons Hayes & Nash Crawford; brothers Don, Eric, Billy, Brent, Travis, & Timmy; and sisters Stacy & Angie.

He will be truly missed by all.

Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Catoosa Hills Christian Church, 18415 E Admiral Place, Catoosa, OK 74015
