Shane Goswick passed away on January 10, 2019 at the lake-house on lake Eufaula.
Shane was born to Richard and Lonnis Goswick on April 15, 1979. He is survived by his parents Richard and Lonnis, his son Brody, his sister Shannon, brother-in-law Seth, niece Katelyn, and nephew Erik. He also had many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Shane was a very talented athlete. He played baseball, soccer, basketball, football and wrestling. In baseball his team went to Chicago to the little league district world series. In soccer his team won gold at the Sonner State Games two different years, and silver another year. In football he won various player of the week awards, and the all district player of the year award. He was ranked third in the state for his kicking talent.
In addition to playing sports, he was also an avid professional sports fan. He loved football and basketball. He knew the statistics and history of many players and coaches. His all time favorite football team was the Patriots.
His favorite place was the lake-house Here he enjoyed water skiing, jet skiing, four wheeling and dirt biking.
Shane was easy going and friendly to everyone. He was always joking around and making everyone feel comfortable and at ease.
Shane is a descendant of the Henderson clan in Scotland through his maternal side.
Memorial service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 019-663-2233
