Richard Earl Grove, 90, was born on August 4, 1925 and passed away March 19, 2016 at Epworth Villa in Oklahoma City. He was married to Kathleen Grove, the love of his life, for 70 years. She preceded him in death by just 13 days.

Richard is also survived by his two sons, Robert Grove and his wife Judi; Donald Grove and his wife Melissa. He is survived by his six grandchildren, Jennifer Whitten, Bryan Grove, Amy Greenlee, Joshua Grove, Adam Grove and Sarah Sanders. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

He was in the United States Air Force during World War II and served on a B-52 bomber. He held a BA and a Master's degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Tulsa. He also completed an advanced business course at Harvard University. He had a long career with Marathon Oil Company and after retirement enjoyed golf, gardening and traveling. We will miss his contagious smile, encouraging generosity and his never-ending love. We are so grateful Richard and Kathleen are joined once again in heaven.
