Richard Leroy "Rick" Goswick, age 76, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026. He was born on July 28, 1949, in Racine, Missouri, to Ernest Leroy Goswick and Dorothy Willa Goswick Gouge.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Terrill David Goswick and Sheryl Ann Goswick Woodard; and his son, Richard Shane Goswick.
He is survived by his wife, Lonnis Lou Goswick, and his daughter, Shannon Marie Soltow, who will forever cherish his memory.
Rick spent much of his life in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he built a successful career as a mechanical engineer. He was known for his strong work ethic, thoughtful problem-solving mind, and dedication to providing for his family.
He will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor and his love of telling jokes, often bringing a smile to those around him. He had a quiet generosity and was always willing to lend a hand-whether helping change a tire or offering a place to stay-simply because someone needed it. Above all else, Rick treasured time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and joy. His steady presence, gentle wit, and deep love for family will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Rick's legacy lives on through the family he loved so dearly and the many lives he touched throughout his life.
Services will be held at 10:00am on January 17, 2026, at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st. Street.
