Richard Wayne
Robey
February 17, 1942 – May 8, 2026
Richard "Dick" Wayne Robey, Sr., 84, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on May 8, 2026. Born on February 17, 1942, Dick lived a life centered on faith, family, service, and love for others.
Dick was preceded in death by the love of his life, Jeronia Kay Robey, his wife of 60 years, and by his son, Chad Wayne Robey.
He is survived by his sons, James Robey and Richard Robey, Jr. and wife Terri Lynn Robey; grandchildren Joe Robey, Sabra Selica, Zachary Selica, Makayla Hess, Shelby Stropkey; along with many cherished great-grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were touched by his kindness and unwavering faith.
For many years, Dick faithfully served in the youth ministry at Park Plaza Church of Christ, helping mentor and guide young people in their walk with Christ. He later served as both a deacon and elder at Garnett Church of Christ, where his wisdom, compassion, and servant's heart made a lasting impact on countless lives.
Beyond his ministry work, Dick built a successful career in the real estate industry and eventually fulfilled a lifelong dream of owning his own Century 21 franchise. Through honesty, hard work, and dedication, he earned the respect of colleagues, clients, and friends throughout the community.
In retirement, Dick continued living a life devoted to serving others and honoring God. He participated in mission work in Guyana and remained deeply committed to sharing his faith and encouraging others. Above all else, Dick was a man devoted to walking closely with the Lord and living his life by faith.
Dick Robey leaves behind a powerful legacy of faith, love, leadership, and devotion to family. While his passing leaves an emptiness in the hearts of those who loved him, there is comfort in knowing he has been reunited with loved ones gone before him and now rests peacefully in the presence of the Lord he faithfully served throughout his life.
Memorial Service will be 10:30AM, Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Park Plaza Church of Christ Chapel, 10600 East 96th Street, South, Tulsa, Oklahoma
