Richard L. Sutton, age 76, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018 in Tulsa, OK. He was born Friday, November 7, 1941 in Muskogee, OK to the late J.M. Sutton and Anna Sisney (Barnes) Sutton.
Richard enjoyed many hobbies which included being an avid golfer for 30+ years. He loved trout fishing with his brother-in-law, Gene Russell. He also loved to watch horse racing at Oaklawn and the Kentucky Derby. Richard read the newspaper cover to cover every day and worked crossword puzzles and cryptoquote. He was member of Community Christian Church Disciples of Christ.
Preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his loving wife, Sally Sutton; daughters, Susie Sjulin and her husband, Scott, Sara Cagle and her husband, Rick and Barrie Bandy; grandchildren, Austin Soder, Richardo and Jessica Sanchez, Sallina Sanchez, Devan Cagle, J.J. Bandy, Justin Bandy and Spencer Sjulin; brother, Teddy Sutton and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in Richard's name to your favorite charity or to the Family Fellowship Church. Memorial service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Family Fellowship Church, 6105 W. 36th Street, Tulsa, OK 74107. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
