Jones, Rickie Lee, 51 died Monday, September 18, 2017 in Sedan, Kansas. Rick was born, February 19, 1966, Honolulu, Hawaii, to Gary Lee Jones and Jane (Nagai) Jones. Rick was preceded in death by his mother & younger sister, Rene Michelle "Shelly" Jones.

Rick graduated from Beggs High School, Beggs, OK. He received his bachelor's degree from OSU, in Biology & Wildlife Management. He joined Arrow Trucking and worked there for several years in management positions. After Arrow's demise, Rick moved to Sedan, Kansas where
He almost single handedly built and operated the Rack Shack Bar B Que Restaurant for several years. After selling the Rack Shack, Rick worked as supervisor of pipe yard and pipe inspection for Boomerang Oilfield & Pipe Manufacturing, Houston, TX. In 2015, he returned to Sedan, Kansas and had just opened his restaurant on Main Street and worked on his beloved farm south of town.

Rick is survived by his son: Clint Tyler Jones, Bartlesville, OK., father, Gary Lee Jones, step Mother, Elaine Moore Jones, Bella Vista, AR. (formerly Of Tulsa, OK). Clint's mother, Lezlee Jones and her Parents, George & Carmaleta Lorenz, Sedan, KS. Two uncles, Larry Jones, his wife, Jacquie, Jerry Jones. First cousins: Robin, Kelly, Dusty & Ginger. In addition to the loss of his mother and sister, he lost his beloved grandfather & grandmother, Jake & Leta Irene Jones, Drummond, OK.

Rick had a great love of animals mainly dogs and a love of the land. He passed away doing what he loved, working on his farm. He had many hobbies, he built beautiful rustic furniture. He learned at his father's knee hunting and fishing and passed this love onto his son and as many will testify he was a great cook.
