Rita M. Fasano, 88, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015 in Tulsa. She was born on January 8, 1927 in Charlottesville, Virginia to the late Charles Birbilis and Cecilia Hamilton Birbilis.

Rita was a devoted homemaker; a loving mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend; and a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Tulsa.

She was a longtime volunteer at St. Pius X and St. Francis Hospital. She loved being surrounded by her family, and anyone that knew her loved her.

Rita married August F. Fasano on August 13, 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where they resided.

Her survivors include three sons: John Fasano, Michael Fasano and wife Jeannie, and Steve Fasano and wife Cheryl; four daughters, Jean Ronketty and husband Rick, Mary Hollowell and husband Jimmy, Kathleen Fasano and husband Mark Sanders, and Christy Abraham and husband Joseph; grandchildren, Jake, Vinnie, Mary, Nikki, Kelli, Joseph, Anthony, Becca, Ricky, Julie, Ryan, Sadie, Maggie and Violet; and great-grandchildren, Alex, Jordan, Mason and Jace.

She is preceded in death by her husband, August F. Fasano in 1999; her parents; and her daughter-in-law, Linda.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel.
Rosary service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Tulsa.
Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at St. Pius X Catholic Church with Father Matt Gerlach as Celebrant.

The family has requested memorials be made to Now Is The Time School Campaign For St. Pius X School or the American Red Cross.
