MAGNUSEN, Rita Jeanne, 35, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 in Tulsa, OK. Born October 24, 1979 in Tulsa, OK to Edward and Florence E. (Coleman) Magnusen. Graduate of Harvard University Cum Laude in Economics. She was a graduate of New York University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate. She passed her New York Bar Exam on her first attempt. Rita started her career as an attorney with Kelley, Drye & Warren Law firm in New York. She later moved back to Tulsa to be closer to her family and started working for the YWCA where she quickly rose to the position of Human Resources Director.

Survived by her parents, Edward and Florence Magnusen of Tulsa, OK; sister. Lena Renee Magnusen of Tulsa, OK; fraternal grandmother, Philomena Magnusen of Ghana; several aunts and uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5-7 P.M., Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, October 5, 2015 at Marcus D.
