Rita Faye Smith passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 in Tulsa, OK. She was born in Bonham, TX on December 17, 1942, to Leonard and Reva Leslie. She was an excellent homemaker, where she enjoyed loving and nurturing her family. Rita was active in, and enjoyed attending, her Methodist church. She loved people, had a kind, generous and giving spirit, and donated to John 3:16. Rita also donated food to the local dog pound, and delivered food to the homeless, as well as, the Glenpool, OK Police and Fire Departments. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Thomas Smith; sons, John Pearson of Tulsa, OK, Lonnie Pearson and his wife, Sandra of Garden Valley, TX, and Billy Treadwell and his wife, Teresa of Mannford, OK; grandchildren, Kenny and Nicole Pearson, Daniel and Stephanie Pearson, and Cheyenne and Shane Treadwell; brothers, J. D. Hunt and wife Carlene, Timmy Denton; sisters, Delia Beth Shepard, Mary Reva Lemmons, and Tamara K. Denton. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Treadwell; step-son, Nicholas J. Smith; brothers, Weldon Hunt, and Tony Denton; and sister, Doris Nell Neeley.
