Robert Allen Pendergrass (Bob), age 76, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away Sunday morning August 14, 2022 at his home. Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he attended the University of Oklahoma where he was set up with his roommate's younger sister, Cheri. She eventually became his wife of 55 years!

Bob graduated from Tulsa University with a law degree and was a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association as well as the Georgia Bar Association. He worked nearly 20 years at Memorex / TELEX as VP of leasing in Tulsa before going into private practice. He moved to Georgia to work with Syncordia / BT. He later spent 20 years at Bank of America Leasing and Capital as Senior Vice President and Manager of Documentation in Tucker, Georgia before retiring in 2019.

Bob was an actor and singer in the local community theater in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma where he also sang in the church choir and was a member of the Methodist Men. Bob loved to travel, play golf, participate in running events, play the guitar, fish, watch Oklahoma football, and work on projects around the farm.

Bob and Cheri raised three wonderful children. They frequently traveled between Oklahoma and Georgia to be with their 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Bob personified mid-west values with his integrity, hard work and love of family. Husband, father, brother, uncle, friend. Musician, singer, thespian, scholar. He was a multi-faceted man who will be remembered for his generosity, sense of humor and easy expression of emotion.

He is survived by his wife, Cheri; Children: Angie (& Jimmy) Weatherford, Bob Pendergrass II, and Amy (& Scott) Blanton; Grandchildren: Megan (& Casey) McCartney, Dustin Weatherford, Darby Blanton, Victoria Blanton, Sierra Blanton, Christopher Blanton, McKinley Blanton, Jonathan Blanton, Thomas Pendergrass, Catherine Pendergrass, Maya Pendergrass; Great-grandchildren: Conner McCartney, Joseph McCartney, and Alaia. He is also survived by his brother, Jim (& JoAnn) Pendergrass, brother-in-law, Don (& Bobbie) Henderson, sister-in-law, Nanci (& Jerry) Puckett, brother-in-law, Steve (& Ann) Tappan, sister-in-law, Kathy (& Geof) Huber, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 5111 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
