Architecture protege of Frank Lloyd Wright passes away.
Robert Paul Bradley, known as Paul to family, friends and loved ones passed away on November 9th 2024. Paul was born in Tulsa, OK on February 1st, 1926, to John Thomas "Jack" Bradley Jr. and Mildred Reid Bradley. He was the youngest of three boys, followed by his only sister, Joan, just under 5 years later.
Paul graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1944 and went on to graduate with a degree in architecture from the University of Illinois in 1949. Mr. Bradley went on to study with his protege, Frank Lloyd Wright from 1950-1951 at Taliesin East in Spring Green, WI and later moving to Taliesin West in Scottsdale, AZ.
Paul would tell family and friends great stories about picking Mr. Wright at the airport and going to the best Asian and Japanese antique stops in San Francisco. As well as cooking breakfast for them in the mornings. Paul would even go onto open an office for Mr. Wright in San Francisco, CA.
Paul and his life partner of 53 years, William Henderson Shultz Jr. enjoyed a wonderful life together traveling to exotic places all over the world. Paul had a special fondness for Japanese, Chinese, Mexican, and Spanish art. He was able to acquire a loverly and eclectic art collection. Paul and Bill had a special fondness for Russia, and traveled to that area over six times.
Paul is survived by many nieces and nephews which include: the children of his brother Jack Bradley; Mark, Steve, and Jeff Bradley; the children of his brother Tom Bradley and Jane; Tom Bradley Jr. and Jane Bradley Jr.; the children of his sister Joan Bradley Morgan; Melissa Morgan Young, Digges Morgan III, Chris morgan, Timothy Morgan, and Michael Morgan.
Paul is preceded in death by: the love of his life, William "Bill" Henderson Shultz Jr who passed in March of 2021; nieces Susan Morgan Niemi, and Jennifer Abell Morgan.

Graveside services will be held at 10AM on Saturday, November 16th at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5111 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, OK
