Crow - Robert (Bob) Stewart, 83
On Thursday morning, August 22, 2024, Robert (Bob) Stewart Crow, 83, went home to meet Jesus and reunite with his beloved wife, Wanda Lou (Carmack) Crow, to whom he was married for 43 years, and his eight-year-old grandson, Zachary Austin Wertz. Bob was born on October 30, 1940, in Milwaukee, WI, to parents Earnest Stewart and Ruth Hatcher Crow.
Bob is survived by his children, David Stewart Crow and Christina Lynn (Crow) Wertz, and his grandchildren, Ashleigh Nicole Crow, Jackson Stewart Crow, Hannah Grace Wertz, and Clara Hope Wertz. Bob graduated from Springdale High School in 1959 and married Wanda Lou Carmack on December 16, 1964. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard for eight years. In his professional career, he worked in chemical sales and later opened his own chemical sales business with his wife, Wanda, for 18 years.
Bob enjoyed woodworking and creating stained glass artwork. He loved spending time outdoors, working in the yard, and spending countless weekends camping and waterskiing at Fort Gibson Lake with his wife and children. Those who knew Bob remember him as a social person who enjoyed spending time with friends and neighbors, as well as playing pool and pinball with his children's friends at the house.
On August 22nd, Bob was greeted in heaven by his four-legged grand-dog, Lulu Wertz, who was wagging her tail and enjoying a chewy treat from Bob!
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Asbury Church, 6767 S. Mingo, Tulsa, OK 74133.
In lieu of flowers, friends may consider contributing to University Village Retirement Community (918-299-2661), where Bob spent the last 12 years living and socializing.
