Robert "Boots" Hale, "You Know This Guy," 73, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away March 29, 2016. Boots was born August 13, 1942 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Delmar and Moline Hale. He retired from the Tulsa Fire Dept. in 1991 after 25 years of service. During the '60's and '70's he enjoyed stock car racing and has always been known for his wood carving artistry. He also had a scissor/blade sharpening business and was an avid support of MDA. Most of all he "Absolutely loved the Tulsa Fire Dept."
He is survived by his wife Lynda of 56.6 years. Together they had two sons: Chris Alan Hale of Tulsa, and Robert Scott Hale and wife Kim of Goodyear, AZ; three grandchildren, Brandon Hale, Ashley Nochevich and husband Curtis, Brittany Petry and husband Brandon; one brother and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
