Robert (Bob) Mahaffey was called to his heavenly father February 21,2014 in Ruskin, Florida where he
resided since the loss of his wife Marie in December of 2011. He was a graduate of Broken Arrow High
School.
He served his country during WWII with the 83rd bombardier squadron as an airplane and engine
mechanic. He was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed his many years as a docent
at the Tulsa Zoo. He also attained the grad of 32 degree Mason.
After his retirement, he enjoyed delivering arrangements for Toni's Flowers and Gifts) regaling many of
her clients with zoo facts and bumper sticker antidotes.
He is survived by his daughter Anita Duplantis of Riverview FL,three sisters, a brother and numerous
nieces and nephews.
