It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the unexpected passing of Robert Donald McAllister who passed away on April 8th, 2025, at the age of 69.

Born in Kokomo, Indiana on September 3rd, 1955, Robert was the son of Ruth Ann McAllister and Fred Thomas McAllister II. He grew up in Tulsa, OK where he attended and graduated from Tulsa Memorial High School. Robert then went on to build a successful and impactful career in sales where he worked as a top sales professional for Scott Rice/Steelcase for over 26 years and then served as the President of Herman Miller/Workplace Resource for 8 years. Over his 35+ years, Robert developed many loyal customers and business leader relationships across Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Robert had a deep passion for all his many hobbies and interests including hunting, fishing, cars, motorcycles, raising koi fish, and, most recently, aviation. Over the past few years, he reignited his love for planes and flying, originally instilled in him from his father and son who both served time in the United States Air Force. He also always found joy in spending time with his beloved granddaughter 'Livi'.

Robert is survived by his wife Debbie McAllister, daughter Danielle McAllister of Austin, TX, daughter Ashton Bartlett of Tulsa, son-in-law Will Bartlett, granddaughter Olivia Bartlett, and siblings Kevin McAllister and Colleen Simmons, both of Tulsa, OK. He is preceded in death by his Father Fred Thomas McAllister II, Mother Ruth Ann McAllister, son Kyle McAllister, and brother Fred McAllister III.

A celebration of Robert's life will be held on April 24th, 2025, at Asbury United Methodist Church at 10:00am.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Foundation in Robert's memory.
