Robert Joseph "Bobby" Moore
September 17, 1963 - March 28, 2025
Robert Joseph Moore, lovingly known as Bobby by his family and friends, passed away on March 28, 2025, in Tulsa at the age of 61. He is survived by his beloved son Alec Martin, his nephew Bradley Moore, several aunts and uncles, and many other cherished loved ones.
Bobby was a devoted father, a loyal family man, and a passionate hockey fan. His love for life, quick wit, and unwavering dedication to those he cared about left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
A memory that truly captures Bobby's humor and originality comes from his longtime friend Randy. During a recent snowstorm in Tulsa, Bobby called Randy over after work to help clear a path from the garage to his truck. When Randy asked where the snow shovel was, Bobby simply said, "I have a hockey stick." Sure enough, that's what they used-clearing snow and ice with a hockey stick. After 10 or 15 minutes, Randy had to admit it worked pretty well. That was Bobby through and through: practical, funny, and always thinking outside the box.
Bobby had a sharp eye when it came to yard work-he never missed a thing and always had something to say about Randy's "free" landscaping services. But no matter how playful the critique, he was always genuinely thankful for the help. That appreciation, expressed with sincerity and a smile, made Randy want to keep coming back.
Bobby's love and legacy shine most brightly through his son Alec, who shares:
"Dad, you are the most amazing dad. You taught me everything-how to ride dirt bikes, play hockey and golf, how to live, love, and be strong. What makes me smile is remembering all the random talks we had when I came over each week. You'll always be my number one in my heart. Fly high, Dad-say hi to Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Rick, and my sister."
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, John Richard "Dick" Moore and Mae Francis Moore, and his brother, Richard Butler "Rick" Moore.
His spirit, strength, and sense of humor will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.


Funeral Services for Bobby will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 8, 2025 in the Moore Funeral Home Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
