Robert D. Muehlberg added a touch of distinction to heaven when he was welcomed into the arms of his Lord and into the arms of his beloved wife on January 17, 2013. He was born on May 1, 1930 to Richard and Lucy Muehlberg. Robert was retired from the Corps of Engineers, a published artist, a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather. A veteran of two wars, Robert proudly served his country in the Army during WWII and again in the Navy during the Korean War. Robert adored his family, loved his Lord and cherished his church and friends. His wife of 58 years, Geraldine Muehlberg, preceded him in death only fifteen days ago. It is indeed a bittersweet ending to a beautiful love story that he was able to be reunited with his wife such a short time after her passing. They were inseparable in life. Nor could they be separated by death itself! Robert was also preceded in death by his daughter, Mari Anne Muehlberg. He is survived by his daughter, Angela Denny and his son, Mark Muehlberg and his wife, Janet. Also survived by six grandchildren, Kendra Bonner, Kristen Denny, Amanda Muehlberg, Dustin Muehlberg, Reiny Rundell and Amanda Thompson. The world has lost a kind and caring man but the world is a better place because he was here. Visitation with family 3-5 PM, Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Moore?s Southlawn. Services for Robert will be held at 11AM on Monday, January 21st, 2013 at Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church at 2550 E. 71st Street, Tulsa. Moore?s Southlawn 663-2233. Share memories at
