Raymond L. Polk, 50, of Tulsa, OK, passed away on Friday, March 21, 1975, at his residence. He was born on Monday, July 14, 1924, in Sedan, KS, to Raymond Polk and Ruby (McClellan) Polk. Raymond was proud to have served as an Infantry Staff Sargent and member of the Golden Acorns of the 87th Division, in the United States Army, in WWII. He was employed by American Airlines for 19 years, where he was supervisor of power control.
Raymond was survived by his wife, Ruth (Allen) Polk of the home; his mother, Mrs. Ruby Polk, Sedan, KS; daughters, Mrs. C. W. Anderson, Midland, TX, Mrs. Ruth Ann Buckner, Tulsa, OK, and Mrs. Gerry Dee Schlupe, Tulsa, OK; son, Donald Romine, Oklahoma City, OK; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Max Christman, Wichita, KS, and Mrs. Arelen Wall, Elgin, IL; and brothers, Jack Polk, Wichita, KS, and Max Polk, Topeka, KS.
