Robert (Bob) Theodore Robison went to be with the Lord on March 10, 2025. He was born on January 25, 1933, at home in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Charles O. and Mary A. Robison. Bob attended Will Rogers High School where he met Judy, the love of his life, in the ninth grade. After graduation he attended the University of Oklahoma where he was member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity, an honor student, and he graduated in 1955 with a B.S. in Geology.
After Bob's graduation from college, he and Judy married and moved to North Dakota for his first professional job as a Geologist with Amerada Hess. After twelve years of working in the field of Geology, Bob made a career change to Special Agent with the FBI and retired after 25 years. After retirement from the FBI Bob became a licensed broker in commercial real estate. He was a member of the Metropolitan Tulsa Board of Directors and International Council of Shopping Centers and continued in commercial real estate for 20 years. Bob was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Bob was a HUGE fan of the Oklahoma Sooners football and women's softball; he enjoyed golf, landscaping, he was an avid reader, crossword puzzle connoisseur and loved music. He enjoyed family gatherings, especially the holidays where the family came together at his home. He was a major foodie and later in life found that he loved to cook. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife Judy and his parents Charles and Mary Robison, three brothers and two sisters. He also was preceded in death by his son Blake Theodore and grandson Blake Ziegenhorn.
Bob is survived by his daughter Judy (Don) Mattson Tulsa, OK, daughter Kim (Kevin) Fowler, Hoffman Estates, IL, son Rob (Kerrie) Robison Tulsa, OK and Lisa (Mike) Ziegenhorn Tulsa, OK. Grandchildren, Stefanie Lee (Brian) South Elgin, IL, Brittany Robison, Jessica Robison, and Zack (Kennedy) Ziegenhorn. He had two great granddaughters Adeleine Lee and Kinsley Hill and one great granddaughter (Zig) on the way due in early June 2025.
Bob's memorial will be held in a private service on March 15, 2025, at Moore Southlawn Chapel.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to Porta Caeli Hospice House, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
