Robert J Sherwin (Bad Bob, Rapid Robert, Poppy or Grumpy) was born on May 1st, 1938 in Abilene, KS and left his earthly body February 10th, 2024 at his home in Tulsa, OK.
He was preceded in death by his parents Reed and Anna Sherwin, brother William Sherwin, adopted daughter Dana Bryk, and his beloved childhood sweetheart and wife Caroline Sherwin.
He is survived by his brother George Sherwin, his children Paul and Cindee Sherwin, daughter Sandra and Matthew Bridwell and Michael and Tiffany Sherwin. His grandchildren, Brian Sherwin, Kyle Bridwell, Kateria Sherwin, Erin Leslie, and Caroline Sherwin. We must not forget his great-grandchildren, Blas, Bruce, Bennet Sherwin, Wesley Bridwell and Noah Leslie. Included in his family is adopted son, Kim Dutton and adopted granddaughter Sophie Jane Bryk and great-grandson Brody.
Dad touched many lives, through church, work and Boy Scouts of America. One could always count on him to lend a helping hand. As my brother Michael penned "My dad, who gave more than he ever took and never took that which he did not earn." It was just who he was. Always ready to lend a helping hand.
He will be greatly missed by many, many people.

Services will be held at St. Marks United Methodist Church, 10513 E Admiral Pl. Tulsa, Oklahoma on Saturday February 24, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
