Our beloved Robert V. Todd, affectionately referred to by his grandchildren as T-Bob, finished his journey on earth on January 10, 2014. Robert is survived by wife of 63 years, Margie Todd; brother, Don Todd; daughter, Nancy Shahadi and husband, George; daughter, Peggy Pogue and Tom Cluck and longtime son-in-law, David Pogue; grandchildren, Anna and Reid Brooks, Alexis Shahadi, Amy Jenson, Ryan, Margaret and Spencer Pogue; great-grandchildren, Declan and Bryce Pogue; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was born in Tulsa, August 10, 1925 and was a great member of the Greatest Generation. Robert loved sports,especially wrestling and football, was a graduate of the Will Rogers High School Class of 1943 and then joined the U.S. Navy serving aboard the USS Harrison and earning 8 battle stars. After serving his country, he graduated from Oklahoma A&M. He loved his family and friends, Grand Lake, and his own homemade ice cream. Interment will take place Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. January 14th at Memorial Park Cemetery followed by a Service at East Side Christian Church at 11:00 a.m. Donations may be made to East Side Christian Church, John 3:16 Mission or Hospice of Green Country.
