Robert J. Warner, age 85, passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma at Saint Francis hospital on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. He was born on June 21, 1939 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Arthur and Geraldine Warner.
After attending high school, he joined the U.S. Navy and met the love of his life, Paulette Fisher. They were married at the naval base in Chula Vista, California on December 24, 1958. After moving back to Tulsa, Oklahoma he worked as a route salesman until 1971. Then the family moved to Coweta, Oklahoma and bought the Dairy King Drive-In across from the high school. Years later they opened the Burger Hut in downtown Coweta, Oklahoma. He enjoyed 4-wheeling, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Paulette, his parents and his stepparents.
Bob is survived by his two daughters Robette Johnson and husband Lee, Phyllis Shelton and husband Gary all of Coweta, Oklahoma; four grandsons Dustin Parker and wife Carissa, Cameron Parker and wife Meghan, Paul Long and wife Morgan, Garrett Long and wife Gayle; four great grandchildren Jesse Parker, Emmerson Parker, Ruby Parker, and Jace Parker; brother Richard Warner of Arlington, Texas; stepbrother Jim Metcalf and wife Fran; and numerous other family members and friends.
