CHESTNUT, Robert Mac, was born November 22, 1931 in Maple Hill, KS to Mac & Vernita (Day) Chestnut. He passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017 in Tulsa, OK. He grew up in Tulsa and attended Tulsa School System and graduated from the University of Tulsa in 1952. He entered into the Army in 1953 and served during the Korean War.

On September 29, 1956 he married Thelma Jo Gay in Tonkawa, OK. They lived in Tulsa all their married life. This September would have been 61 years of marriage. Mac was in the insurance business with Burt Holmes.

Mac was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Jerry.

He is survived by his wife, T.J. of the home; brother Jim and wife, Flora of Siloam Springs, AR. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cherished friends.
