Obituary

Robin Elizabeth Nichols Huffman, age 38, passed away on February 11, 2026, at her home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Robin was born in Midland, Texas, to Steven Gene Nichols and Sandy Jenise Nichols. She and her mom shared the same birthday - the day after Christmas - a special bond they carried throughout their lives. When Robin was four years old, her family moved to Tulsa, where she would spend her elementary years attending Evangelistic Temple and Carnegie Elementary School. During her middle school years, her family relocated to Enid to be closer to extended family, where she attended Emerson Junior High. For high school, they returned to Tulsa, and Robin attended Memorial High School.

After high school, Robin married Tony Huffman, and together they welcomed their son, Elijah Malachi. Elijah was the light of her life. She protected him fiercely, loved him deeply, and even moved homes to ensure he could attend a better school district. Robin was a devoted and compassionate mom who made sure Elijah felt safe and cherished.

Years later, Robin was blessed with two beautiful daughters, Presley Elizabeth and Remy Gale. Her girls meant the world to her. Presley shares her mom's love for makeup and jewelry, while Remy carries Robin's free spirit and vibrant personality. Being a mother was Robin's reason for being. She made sure her children knew they were loved. She was genuine, nurturing, and endlessly compassionate.

Robin walked through difficult seasons in her life, but she fought her way into recovery and made a beautiful comeback. Her journey became part of her purpose. She worked as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist and Detox Technician at Grand Mental Health helping people in addiction find hope and recovery. She had a remarkable ability to meet people exactly where they were, offering encouragement and understanding without judgment. Her gracious spirit set her apart and was a remarkable gift for making every person in her presence feel valued and important. Robin was known for loving on people during their hardest moments.

Robin loved Jesus with every fiber of her being. Her faith was not something she spoke about - it was something she lived. She found joy in singing at church, writing songs, journaling, praying, decorating, and expressing herself through makeup and jewelry. She had a creative spirit and a beautiful way with words. A true prayer warrior, Robin was always ready to pray with anyone - whether a close family member, a co-worker, or even a stranger.

Robin shared an incredibly special bond with her dad. They were two peas in a pod, walking through life's ups and downs, side by side. Her love and devotion to him was evident to all.
Robin often referred to herself as the "Prodigal daughter," a reflection of both her humility and her deep understanding of grace.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Sandy Winsett; grandmother, Gale Mills; grandmother Terry Burford; and grandparents, Allen and Laura Nichols.

Robin is survived by her beloved children: Elijah (19), Presley (10), and Remy (8); father, Steve Nichols; brother, Erik Nichols (wife Rachael); sister, Stevie Lemery (husband Justin); grandfather, Phillip Burford (wife Marilyn); and many extended family members and dear friends who will carry her memory in her heart.

Robin's legacy is one of faith, redemption, compassion, and unwavering love. She will be deeply missed, but the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in all who knew her.
