Robin J. 'Rob' Passley passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015 in Broken Arrow, OK. He was born November 9, 1955 in Webb City, MO to Melvin J. and Betty Jo (Lee) Passley.

He graduated from high school in Carthage, MO in 1974. Rob had a passion for aviation from an early age. He earned his pilot's license at age 16 and subsequently graduated from Spartan College of Aeronautics. He worked at Learjet, Cessna, and Beechcraft in Wichita, Kansas. After his marriage to Shanann (Johnston) Passley in 1995, he worked at Nordam and then as an instructor for 16 years at Spartan College of Aeronautics.

He was member of the Masonic Lodge 243 AF & AM and a 32nd Degree Mason, American Turf Flyers, Akdar Shrine, and numerous aviation organizations including QBs.

He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Shanann of the home; son, Jacob Passley and his wife, Jennifer of Tulsa, OK; step-children, Kristin Arnold of Broken Arrow, OK, and Bill and Meredith Pinkham of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren, Andrew Passley, Dylan Stevens, Jadyn Stevens, Colin Arndt, and Davis Pinkham; sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Dave Rudolph of Portola, CA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shriners' Childrens Hospital, 815 Market Street, Galveston, TX 77550.
