Obituary

FRISINGER, Roger N., 85, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015 in Tulsa, OK. Born July 1, 1930 to Earl Lester and Edith May (Simmons) Frisinger in Bartlesville, OK. Graduated from College High School in 1950 before marrying his high school sweetheart Sally Beth Shaffer on December 20, 1951 in Bartlesville, OK. Veteran of the U. S. Air Force having served in the Korean Conflict serving four years with Sally by his side.

Their daughter Jeri Lynn was born in Puerto Rico and their second daughter Charlotte was born in Stillwater after Roger graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1961. He retired from Rockwell International as an HVAC Technician in 1990. Lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club, North American Aerospace Rod & Gun Club. Member of the NRA. Member of the American Legion Post #308. He was an avid pheasant hunter and had the ability to fix anything that was broken, and even some things that were not.

Roger loved life and fought so hard for it. Roger was the type of man who loved people. He loved to talk, tell stories and even go to events early to mingle and share special moments with friends and acquaintances. He loved his beautiful wife of almost 64 years, Sally Beth and his daughters Jeri and Charlotte and would do anything for them. The support and love Roger and Sally have shown their grandchildren Jason and Justin is unparalleled. Roger is, was, and always will be loved by every person he ever knew; and we love him.

Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kendall and Arnold. Survived by his wife, Sally B. Frisinger of the home; daughter, Jeri L. (Harold) Brauer of San Isabel, CO, and daughter, Charlotte L. Ervin of Tulsa, OK; grandsons, Jason Blake (Jennifer Lea Pynn) Ervin, and Justin Taylor (Ellie Frances) Ervin, all of Tulsa, OK; brother-in-law, Larry (Cari) Shaffer of Colorado Springs, CO; nephew, Kelly (Pat) Shaffer; and other relatives and friends.
