Roger Foster Thompson was born November 9, 1940 in Washington, D.C. to Gordon and Louise (Foster) Thompson, and passed away May 1, 2017 at the age of 76.
Roger married Molly M. van Ameringen on March 11, 1999 in Siesta Key, Florida and was a member of Meadow Brook Country Club, President of the Tulsa Manufacturing Show, Certified as a CMTSE, worked as a machine specialist for Kansas-Oklahoma Machine Tools and former member of Asbury United Methodist Church and graduate of Purdue University.
Roger is survived by his wife Molly, daughters: Cindy Clark of Austin, TX, and Carrie Furman and husband Jason of Plantation, FL; sons: Roger Thompson, Jr. (Chip) and wife Beth of Aberdeen, N.C., Curtis Thompson and wife Julie of Bixby, OK and Patrick van Ameringen of NY City; grandchildren: Nicklaus Harrington, Bronson Clark, Ella & Clarissa Thompson, Lyla, Max & Charlotte Furman; brother: David Thompson and wife Doris; sisters: Susan and Janet Thompson, several nieces, nephews, and many relatives and friends.
Memorial Service 6:00pm Friday, May 5, 2017 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st St. Tulsa, OK
